How we were founded
"Plan-A" means "Positive Living and Negative Awareness," a phrase coined by founder, DJ Show in 2015. In 2016, DJ Show and Ink met and began to create an indie platform as indie artists themselves. The two worked diligently from a small station in Los Angeles and interviewed artists like Datta Boy, Kevin Kent (Big Joker), and Thee Kraig Smith. Within three years, Plan-A Radio founders had traveled around California interviewing indie artists and promoting their stories on Instagram and YouTube. DJ Show developed an indie artist song review platform, and Ink has generated collaborations with brands and products; both forces have helped generate income for other indie artists and increase exposure for the artist community.
